I was recently contacted by Nick Valentino, CEO of Valentino Holdings in Beverly Hills, California. Mr Valentino and I talked at length about art and my artwork. A patron of the arts, Nick is very insightful about the art world and aesthetics. I really appreciated that he took the time to have such a beneficial conversation with me.
Mr Valentino and I also discussed me doing a possible commission for him in the future. He says that he likes my use of realism the best, along with a brighter palette. Nick had previously viewed a series I did that was part of a study of Japanese pop culture, and decided to purchase one of the pieces from it. The piece is acrylic paint and drawing medium on cold press board. Nick has a very unique and interesting eye for art, and I was very pleased that he was able to appreciate the whimsical nature and bold graphic style of this fine art piece.
