If you’re aware of it, but don’t watch it, you really should.
It is a delightful, surreal, surprisingly deep show on Cartoon Network, that features beautiful, simple, spot on design of its endearingly bizarre characters and the candy-like post-Apocalyptic world they inhabit. It also has music. Awesome music. Often played by the most adorable, soft-spoken, gender-swapping, delusionally dopplegangered video game system to ever hit children’s television. And that would be BMO. There is indeed an episode where BMO invites the Bikini Babes over to dance, which they do after the pre-requisite conflict and fighting ensues. This is a playlist I made especially for BMO’s dance party. The first song on the list, No Wonder I by Lake, is actually the song that BMO plays in the episode. The last song on the playlist, Christmas Island (also by Lake), is the theme song played at the end of every Adventure Time episode. The rest of the songs I chose because I felt they had that special sweet twinkly soft robot vibe that just screams BMO, but quietly screams of course. I also made that groovy graphic for the cover.
